A lot of people were surprised when little Shannon from Home and Away started appearing in big budget Hollywood films, but not us – what’s not to like?
The sexy redhead was born in Oman on 3 February 1976 but raised in sunny Perth, Western Australia. After her three-year stint in Home and Away, Isla went to study drama in Paris before hitting UK shores to star in pantomime with serial love-rat, Darren Day.
It wasn’t till 2002 that she got her first major movie role, starring as Shaggy’s love interest in the Scooby Doo film about the same time as she became girlfriend of Ali G, Borat and Bruno funny man Sacha Baron Cohen.
Since then the 32B–24–33 babe has gone on to have big success in a succession of Hollywood films such as Wedding Crashers and Definitely, Maybe.
